This is my one-month review. At first, I was going to do just a very slight 2 mm reduction, but after looking into it, I thought I would probably need 4-6 mm, so I went in with that in mind. I made a phone reservation two weeks in advance for same-day consultation and same-day surgery, and when I had my first consultation on the day of surgery, Director Im Jeong-taek took a look and said he would do 4 mm on both sides. Then after I lay down on the operating table, he said the sizes were different on each side, so he would do 5.5 mm on the left and 5 mm on the right. I wondered to myself if that was reducing too much, but at the same time, when I looked at 4 mm reviews, I felt like it could be reduced more, so since I was doing it anyway, I went ahead with 5.5 and 5 like that. For the surgery, I lay down and had sleep anesthesia, had strange dreams for about 15 minutes (you can still hear everything during the surgery), then after the surgery ended, I rested for about an hour and left. In conclusion, I do want to reduce it more, but I am satisfied. (If I reduce it more, I feel like breathing might become uncomfortable and a finger might not fit in, so if I were to do it again, I would only want to reduce about 0.5 mm more.) People around me do not notice unless I tell them, and acquaintances who know I had surgery all said it went well and looks natural. Now, one month later, the scar feels like a scar only I know about, but there is still a scar. They did it naturally and well, so every time I look in the mirror now, it really hits me and I feel good.
