Breast Surgery 5 Years Ago

I had breast surgery in 2012. I had teardrop breast augmentation with Polytech implants. 330 cc and 350 cc were inserted. At first, I was satisfied with the overall design, feel, and size~ But from the time I first had surgery, I had pain along the inframammary fold under my left breast. A tingling pain, and a knife-like stabbing pain from the nipple toward the outer side of the breast, continued for 5 years, and only one breast kept having a sensation of heat on the outer side. There were days when it wasn’t there, but on days when the pain was more frequent, the heat sensation would come. And when I put strength into it, should I say a boundary appeared between the inframammary fold, the implant, and the muscle layer? That kind of boundary appeared in the breast that hurt. But I thought it would be okay and lived like that for 5 years, and eventually serous fluid accumulated in the painful breast, so I removed the implant in August 2017. To avoid removing that implant, I think I had the breast with serous fluid anesthetized, opened through the inframammary fold, washed out, and drained with a syringe about 10 times. I think I took antibiotics for months. It was all useless.. In the end, the surgery was done through an axillary incision, but because they drained the serous fluid and washed it out, I was left with a lot of scars along the inframammary fold Now that it’s removed, I feel relieved. I’m scheduled for another revision surgery next month with smaller implants. Now I think it turned out well haha. If not, I would have lived my whole life foolishly with D-cup breasts attached to me. Horrifying, right? lol Because even those large breasts suited me so well, and I thought they were all my own breasts.. The feel and shape were so natural. So if there had been no particular side effects, of course I wouldn’t have had revision surgery. I always thought I wanted to change the size, but.. They still suited me, but because of that, I didn’t have the confidence to go through such a major surgery again! Low-cut clothes always looked good, but I couldn’t wear clothes however I wanted. Especially in winter.. I looked bulky. People around me said my breasts suited me so well, that they were pretty and sexy, but after I removed the implants lol they said I look much prettier without them, because my image changed completely.. Even to me, removing them looks better. The conclusion is, if you have pain after surgery, a severe inflammatory reaction, an unbelievably strange breast shape, rippling, or anyway any strange symptoms, don’t take it lightly. Make sure to speak firmly with the hospital and resolve it. They’ll keep putting it off, saying after six months. Actually, pain after surgery is normal. Of course it hurts~~~ And in the case of the inframammary folds, it’s normal that they don’t match perfectly. Things like that improve over time, and if the inframammary folds are different, once the breasts become more natural with time, that also becomes less noticeable. Unless the inframammary fold is unbelievably different, like really 1 cm? then you can just live with it. But other than that, definitely!! argue firmly and find a solution. In the end, it feels like only the patient who had surgery suffers mentally and physically. Somehow, side effects come later and you need revision surgery. And people who have had surgery will know, but I also don’t recommend going too large in size. You’ll regret it. If you want to go large, I recommend around a C cup, and if not, I think a full B cup is the prettiest size. If possible, don’t go up to D~~~ If you’re tall it’s okay, but if you’re short, it can really look clumsy. Oh. And as far as I know, Polytech is an implant that tends to accumulate serous fluid~ I don’t know whether that’s true or not, but I don’t think it’s untrue. haha That’s all.
