Nose Re-Surgery

I’m someone whose rhinoplasty went wrong. Let’s be careful with revision surgery

After my first surgery, my nasal tip drooped, and getting revision surgery out of greed was the root of the problem. At the time, I went just because I believed they were good at making dramatic, well-defined noses.. First, after the revision, I did get a really long and slim nose. But after that, a strange smell gradually started coming from my nose. Really.. there was a musty, unpleasant smell, and after 2 years, as the nasal tip came down, the tip started to bend. Above the nostril wing, there was a strange round protrusion I could feel, and even visually it looked oddly crooked. I lived like that for 2 years, and then the strange smell started happening every day, so I had revision surgery. I didn’t care about making it high anymore; I did it for reconstruction. When I went for consultation, I went in saying my nose was crooked, but the clinic examined it more thoroughly. Contracture, the nose was too pinched, the alar area had descended too much, and so on. At that time, I felt completely resigned, and when they talked about the things I had been pretending not to notice even while looking in the mirror, I suddenly got choked up. After the surgery, even though the silicone was placed lower, my nose became high and natural-looking. And most importantly, the part I had been most concerned about, the crooked and protruding area, disappeared, and the musty smell also went away, so I was really happy. It turned out I had inflammation in my nose. If I could go back to when I first had rhinoplasty, I would not have done it at that clinic. That clinic’s characteristic was that it emphasized flashy results that shine only for a moment. Of course, there were side-effect cases like mine, such as a crooked nose. I’m posting this because I really hope people are careful with rhinoplasty. I don’t want you to be fooled by clinics that shine briefly and are only good for advertising. Since this is my first post, I wrote a bit long. Thank you for reading.
