Before <my stiff operated nose, which became crooked and gave me a severe drooping “arrow nose” when I smiled thanks to the high, long silicone implant put into my small noseㅡㅡ> After <side view on day 7 after removal> After <front view on day 7 after removal> It was a small nose, but 7 years ago I was living without any particular issue with the shape or dissatisfaction... I went in for rhinitis surgery because my nose was blocked, and ended up being this sucker who got silicone in the nasal bridge and the nasal tip built up with septal extension and ear cartilage.
As expected, when I smiled, I had an arrow nose. The nasal tip was extremely hard, like a stone, and it had originally been slightly crooked diagonally, but because of the silicone it looked even more noticeably crooked, so I was always stressed... It wasn’t really because I had inflammation, but I knew I’d have to remove it someday, so although it was late, I did online research through a community, carefully selected 6 places in Gangnam that were said to be decent, and went to consultations in person. During that process, time and consultation fees did add up more than I expected, but I went around to consultations determined that I would never touch my nose again. I made my decision by considering three things: the direction the doctor pursued, my gut feeling, and my budget. I booked without hesitation and had it removed.
It’s day 7, and I had my stitches removed today. The pain, bruising, and swelling are definitely much less than when I had my nose built up. My nose is still hard, so when I asked, they said I have to wait 3 to 6 months. What did they call it again, the contraction phase?
Anyway, since I originally had open surgery, I had the complete removal done with an open approach too. To commemorate taking out the silicone, I brought it home, but I can’t see where I shoved it awayㅜ
Today, after removing the taping and stitches, I can visually see about 70% of my old nose. My round and low noseㅠㅠㅠㅠ Once the swelling goes down, it’ll sink down more, so I think it could get to about 90%ㅋㅋ
I like it so much, and I’ll take good care of the scar from now on. When I have time, I’ll post another review.
Oh, and about nose surgery, unless you seriously have an insanely severe hump, or it’s so low it looks like a flat pancake, or it’s an extremely upturned nose, seriously, just live with it, everyone... You’ll have to take it out someday. Wasting money, wasting time, damaging my body. I’ve become someone who talks people around me out of nose surgery..
