It’s my 3rd year by calendar count since cheekbone surgery. Overall, my impression has become softer, but it also feels a bit overcorrected. When I gently touch the area where the plate is, even touching over the skin feels painful...ㅠㅠ My sensation has all returned normally. It feels like my mouth opens a little less, but it doesn’t interfere with daily life at all.
I had it done at HN in Busan, and since I didn’t really hear a proper explanation of the surgical method at first, I still feel some regret. I also wonder whether the director really performed the surgery... I heard this hospital recently got X-rays and newer equipment, so I’m planning to go check whether there is any nonunion and so on.
I guess sagging cheeks can’t be helped, but I’m living with this uneasy feeling, like something feels off, so after checking, if anything was not done properly, I’m planning to have revision surgery ㅠㅠㅠ Sigh...
