Cheekbone revision surgery

I had surgery on the side cheekbones 10 years ago, but it didn't have much effect, so I just went on with life. Then for some reason I felt like if I didn't do it now, I'd never be able to do it in my lifetime, so I ended up having revision surgery on the side cheekbones. Today is day 23, and even now the side cheekbones are still not disappearing from the front of my eyes. Feeling frustrated, I called the hospital and asked them to send me the before-and-after CT scans. I looked at them for a long time, but... I can't see any reduction in the photos, so I'm full of doubts about whether this is really revision surgery or whether I even had surgery at all. The doctor did say at the 2-week follow-up, "I can still see the side cheekbones; they'll go in," but when I look at the CT, I can't trust those words. Feeling frustrated, I searched online and thought I'd post to see how it is for other people.
