Left: before removal of the silicone septal support graft Right: day 7 after closed removal of the silicone septal support graft The black thing visible in the photo on the right is not nose hair lol It’s stitchesㅋㅋㅋ Surgery location: a plastic surgery clinic located in Hongdae, among the places most frequently mentioned in this community Cost: I mentioned it in my review titled “I removed 10-year-old silicone septal cartilage,” so please read that. Even if you ask about the information written above in the comments or by private message, I won’t answer anymore All other questions are very welcome!! Hello ~ It’s already day 7 since the removal. Tomorrow I’m going to get the stitches removed, but I still have some bruising, so I’m debating whether to wear a hat or not.
Until yesterday, my nose was very soft, and the area where the implant had been removed and the surrounding area felt squishy and hurt even with the slightest touch, but when I woke up this morning, it didn’t hurt when touched, yet my whole nose felt hard and even when I stayed still it felt like it was pulling, so I wondered if this was the contraction period I’d only heard about. It’s only day 7 after removal, but it feels like the contraction period came in a hurry so quickly... Because the pulling sensation was strong, I took photos to check whether my nose had lifted lol Fortunately, compared with my original nose, it doesn’t seem lifted and there doesn’t seem to be columellar retraction, so I felt relieved, but when I read reviews from people who had removals, they said the shape keeps changing from now on too, so I decided to just accept it and try to avoid looking in the mirror too much^.^ It’s day 7 after surgery, but can the contraction period come this quickly?? They say warm compresses are good~~ but is it bad to soak a towel in hot water and place it directly on the nose... I’m not placing it directly on my nose; I’m gently lifting the nose upward with both hands while doing the compress, but my skin feels rougher than before, so I wondered whether I’m doing the warm compress properly If there’s anything good for the contraction period, please tell me lots in the comments!!! Please I searched a lot, and people said warm compresses and massage are good, but I’m also curious whether it’s okay to start massage from day 7~~^,^
I’m taking photos of my nose every day, so if there are more changes, I’ll come back to leave another review!! Have a good night, everyone!!
