I had my hump shaved down, silicone about 2.5 mm + ear cartilage + septal extension. It’s been 3 years since the surgery.
The ear cartilage was showing through and could be felt, and my nostrils were shifted to one side. The silicone was also slightly crooked, and sometimes it throbbed. I was anxious about inflammation that could come at any time, so after thinking about it for about a month or two,
I went to the hospital where I had the surgery, got a CT scan, and had a consultation. They had clearly said during my first nose surgery that they would put in 1 mm of silicone, but they had put in about 2.5 mm, and they used septal cartilage even though they never told me they would.. Anyway, I don’t know if the hump wasn’t shaved enough or if it grew back, but it was protruding a little again. It doesn’t show well in the photo though ㅜㅜ I kept saying I wanted it removed, but they suggested just slightly refining it and shaving down the silicone a bit before putting it back in... I thought that if I was going to open my nose again, I might as well remove everything ㅠㅠ So I just roughly said okay, then a month later I went to another hospital and had it removed ㅠ It’s only day 3, so I don’t know how the shape will change yet....ㅠㅠ Right now it’s so swollen that I look like an Avatar ㅠ I wrote this review hoping everyone can stay strong.
