Consultation review from last year through today

For a third surgery, I know I haven’t looked into that many places, but my nose is a difficult case, so each doctor’s opinion was a little different. I felt like the more places I saw, the harder it would be to decide, so for now I’m planning to get consultations only up to this point.
My current nose shape and condition: I have a long midface. So my nose is also very long. My first surgery came out too natural, and in the second surgery they really messed with my nose, so now my nose is badly damaged. I have a deviated septum and it’s a bit hard to breathe. There’s almost no septum left. My rhinitis has gotten a bit worse. The columella has retracted a lot, and the nasal tip has drooped a lot. The nostril wing area is uneven, and the nasal cartilage and silicone show through. I have a perforation, so it makes a sound.
1. ㄴㅇㄷ review: I went last November. The quote was fairly high. The doctor was extremely confident in his own surgery and kind of appealed his opinion very passionately. He said he was absolutely confident, and while that did make me trust him somewhat, he was so assertive that it also put me off.
2. ㄱㄴ: The doctor looked young, so it seemed like he might not have much surgical experience. For a third surgery, the price was somewhat cheap, which actually made me feel resistant. I didn’t get a good feeling, so I passed. The consultant was basically begging me to do it there, which made me feel put off, so I passed.
3. ㄹㅂㄹ: I waited a month last winter and got a consultation. It was okay. I wasn’t strongly drawn to it, just average? This place is also famous for revision surgery.
4. ㅈㅇㅈ: A place with both ENT and plastic surgery specialists. The entire building was the hospital building. I consulted with the ENT specialist. He had a lot of experience. He said he wasn’t confident about perforation surgery, and that because the risk factors were high, I didn’t necessarily have to do it, and that perforation repair wasn’t mandatory. Since he told me honestly, I actually liked that. What’s unusual here is that if they don’t use silicone, they grind my own cartilage and use it for the nasal bridge,, Anyway, I put down a deposit. Functional rhinoplasty is possible.
5. ㅋㅂㅈ: I also put down a deposit here. The doctor is an ENT specialist, and the consultation was the kindest, most detailed, and warmest. Until I saw ㅇㅇ today, this was the place I was most drawn to. He was the first person to ask whether we couldn’t remove the silicone. He said he would close the perforation with the dermis? membrane? of autologous costal cartilage, use autologous costal cartilage for the nasal tip, and insert silicone if I wanted it. He said we should use only exactly that. And the A/S period is three years haha. They said even if I’m dissatisfied with the shape simply because I changed my mind within three years, they’ll do it for free, and I’d only pay the anesthesia fee,, I also liked that the consultant didn’t push anything. The consultation time was also good because, out of all the hospitals so far, it proceeded right away without waiting. They did something like Photoshop? on a tablet and showed me that the result would come out like this. Functional rhinoplasty is possible.
6. ㄷㄴ: I had been waiting for this and ㅇㅇ since last November. I went for the consultation in May. Maybe because I had such high expectations, it wasn’t as appealing as I thought. They did speak confidently, but somehow I wasn’t drawn to it. As expected, the quote was expensive.
7. ㅇㅇ: I had a consultation today and put down a deposit for now. I’m very dissatisfied with my nose cosmetically, but I also need to fix it functionally, so I thought I absolutely had to go to an ENT clinic. But the head director consulted with me and told me not to do it at an ENT clinic. He said the shape is important too, and that many people come back after having it done at an ENT clinic because they’re dissatisfied with the external appearance. For the perforation, he said we should not touch it for now. When I said it was hard to breathe because of my deviated septum, he said it is deviated, but because all the septum has been used and there’s no septum left, it’s not hard to breathe because of septal deviation. He said I need to do the nasal valve for breathing to become easier. I heard this for the first time today. For materials, he said we should use silicone thinly, just to a degree that it won’t show through, and since my nasal bridge isn’t low, we won’t raise it, and we should use autologous costal cartilage. The quote came out the highest. But since it’s originally a third surgery, I think this level is probably right. After the consultation, when he handed the consultation chart to the consultant, he apparently said it had been a while since a difficult nose came in lol
I’m still thinking about it, but I am leaning toward ㅇㅇ. If I get more consultations, the doctors’ opinions will differ little by little, so I think I’ll get confused,, haha Anyway, I summarized the consultation details to about this extent, and if you ask about anything I couldn’t write down, I’ll answer.
