I like glamorous lines, but I thought they wouldn't suit my face, so I went around mainly looking for a natural-glam line.
ㄱㄴ - As soon as I sat down, during the consultation with the consultant, they told me to choose donated costal cartilage/autologous costal cartilage, without even looking at my CT. It felt like they were kind of immediately pressuring me toward rib cartilage ㅠ - They said I should do bulbous nose correction too. I do usually think I have a bulbous nose. - The consultation with the director seemed more focused on functional aspects than aesthetic ones. While looking at my CT, he said my bone was deviated, so if silicone is inserted it would look even more crooked, and that we should do this together first (functional nose surgery). Otherwise, even if I do cosmetic rhinoplasty, there is a possibility it could become crooked. - But the consultant said we should first submit the documents for functional nose surgery, and if it doesn't work out... then only cosmetic rhinoplasty would be possible. But the director said cosmetic rhinoplasty without functional nose surgery would be meaningless??? I was kind of flustered, but the overall atmosphere wasn't bad. - For functional nose surgery, they said I need to go to an ENT clinic, get the documents, and then claim it through actual-expense insurance. The total came out to over 5 million won, and with a discount it would be in the 4 million won range.
ㅇㅇㄹㅁ - Recommended donated costal cartilage - The director had a strong presence. He seemed professional and very experienced. But both the consultant and the director kept grilling me about which hospitals I had been to ㅜㅜ It was a bit uncomfortable. Also, during the consultation, the consultant openly made snide remarks.. It was embarrassing. - They said if there was no surgery schedule, they could add me in and do it, but then I wondered how many surgeries they do in a day... I got a bit worried. - The consultation with the director was okay because he had a very strong presence and you could feel his experience, but the overall atmosphere was a bit uncomfortable.. kind of prickly?? I also got comments evaluating my appearance ㅠㅠ and got scolded ㅠㅠ Also, the director seemed professional, but it was disappointing that I wouldn't see him during treatment. They said there is no need to see the director for treatment after surgery. - Here too, they said mentioning functional nose surgery would be good.. Again it came out to over 5 million won, discounted to the 4 million won range. The diagnosis was similar to ㄱㄴ.
ㅂㄴㄴ - Recommended septal cartilage. This was the only place that didn't immediately mention rib cartilage; they only mentioned rib cartilage as a possibility, saying they might do it after checking in the operating room. - They said my nose isn't really a bulbous nose. They said if silicone is inserted, it will become slimmer anyway, so there is no need to specifically do bulbous nose correction.. - They also said functional nose surgery isn't really necessary. Since the deviated part will be corrected during surgery anyway, they didn't feel it was necessary to that extent. - The consultant explained things really kindly and in a way that was easy to understand. I felt comfortable because there was no pressure to use rib cartilage. - Total diagnosis was in the 4 million won range; with discount, high 3 million won range.
