Hello. I’m a woman in my mid-30s. About 7 years ago, I found out about a community, got help, and had three facial contouring procedures. Maybe it’s because of my age, but I’m always at war with lifting procedures (I’m pretty sensitive.. other people say they can’t tell my cheeks are sagging.. but I can’t trust other people’s eyes ㅠㅠ) To get to the point, having facial contouring surgery was 20,000 times better. Even if I went back, of course I’d do it again. But if I could go back, I’d wear the compression band diligently, diet, do warm compresses, walk every day, and really work hard on aftercare ㅜㅜ After getting the bone shaved, I just lay around, and it feels like the swelling all gathered in my front chin;; My biggest enemy. My front chin.. maybe because I didn’t work hard to reduce the swelling. Other doctors also find it strange. They say, “You only have a lot of flesh at the chin tip?” Anyway, my problem is based around the lip line. The bone is pretty, but the flesh is attached in an unpretty way. Since the retaining ligaments were cut, it isn’t stuck down properly and firmly. Only the lower face.. my cheekbones don’t sag.
It’s dawn and I can’t sleep.. I was thinking I should get AccuSculpt this time, then I was giggling to myself thinking, “What all have I done because of cheek sagging?” so I’m rambling here..
For a few months after surgery, my face was kind of chubby.. my friends teased me, asking if I really had facial contouring because it didn’t even show.. I do have quite a bit of flesh on my face. I don’t know if the swelling turned into fat.. So from then on I started personal training at the gym. My body kept getting thinner, but my face still felt chubby;; I thought this wouldn’t do, so I looked into facial liposuction. The doctor said that if I did liposuction, my face would become slimmer, and sagging with age would also be delayed. I booked right away, but the problem was below the lip line, from the jowl-like area to the front chin. They said liposuction can’t be done there. Apparently it’s impossible because there are many nerves.. In the end, I paid 2.5 million won for the cheeks, cheekbones, and double chin and had it done. Since then, I’ve been getting Botox for cobblestone chin every 3-4 months. This has at least some effect. I also tried facial contouring injections, but they had zero effect for me..
After liposuction, my face is slim, but my lower face always feels loose and chubby..
I paid 1.1 million won and had AirJet 3 times. Don’t do it ㅜㅜ
This time, I tried Ultherapy + Thermage. 300 shots / 600 shots, and I think I paid 2 million won. Oh, it works! I thought, and then it ended.. after 6 months it was back to square one ㅜㅜ Increasing the shot count and spending 3 million every year is expensive, so while I was debating,
this time I thought, let’s try thread lifting. I usually go to a dermatology director near my house for small laser treatments, and I kept asking every time I went, then finally decided. I paid 1.6 million won for 3 types of threads. It’s been 3 weeks, and it is tight. The downside is that the pain is worse than facial contouring.. When eating, my temples hurt, so I ate while pressing on them ㅜㅜ
The decisive issue is that below the lip line is still the problem. Right now I’m looking into AccuSculpt. It seems that can be done beside the lips and on the front chin too.
Roughly calculating- Full-face liposuction 2.5 million AirJet 1.1 million Ultherapy & Thermage 2 million Thread lifting 1.6 million Plus countless Botox treatments, facial contouring injections, and lasers (lasers like Doublo, too many to count. I can’t even calculate how much) LG Pra.L mask set I bought for 1.8 million because I thought I should try home care too There are probably more things I haven’t written down. I’ve done so many different things ㅜ ㅜ These days I’m also keeping an eye on that PAO thing advertised by Psy.. When will I be free from cheek sagging.. I know I’m very sensitive, but I can’t help being bothered every time I look in the mirror. It’ll probably get worse as I age.. At that point I’ll just have to pull it up, I guess~ haha
Sometimes I think I should be grateful I had facial contouring without side effects, but human desire really has no end. My younger biological sister also had three facial contouring procedures 2 months ago. She looked so prettyㅜㅠ I told her, “You’ll soon be at war with lifting too” lol
Then everyone, have your surgeries safely, and those who already had surgery, take good care afterward.. Still, the conclusion is that having the surgery was better.
