<After rhinoplasty!! 1 month post-op><This is right after splint removal, at 1 week!><This is what it looked like before surgery ㄱ->I paid for my rhinoplasty myself, and I’m posting this purely because I’m >>satisfied<<! I’m the type who thinks self-esteem is everything, so even when I normally dress up and take care of myself, I tend to think a lot about how I can look the prettiest and be the best version of myself, you know? Hair style, face shape, body shape, things like that can, to some extent, be changed through care and effort in my opinion, but when it comes to the nose, no matter how much makeup or photo editing you pile on.. the original structure doesn’t change, so I think that’s why I felt I needed to get plastic surgery. But this is just my personal thought from looking into plastic surgery: among eyes, nose, facial contouring, and so on.. compared with other procedures, rhinoplasty somehow seemed to have the highest revision surgery rate. Even aside from cases where people get revision surgery because of clinic mistakes ㅡ.ㅡ, contracture, or side effects, there were also people getting revision surgery because they didn’t like the design itself, so since this was surgery I was paying a lot of money for (honestly, several million won is a lot for someone just starting out in society, agreed?), I really didn’t want to experience failure, so I worked hard and went around to a lot of consultations. Honestly, when you read a few posts, there are places where you get a sense like, this place really advertises a lot.. all the photos here look edited.. You kind of pick up on that? But even if you don’t get that feeling, there’s no need to worry, because when you actually go for a consultation, it also changes depending on how the director diagnoses you and how they look at the design, so don’t rush into surgery. It’s best to be absolutely careful. I also spent several months doing online research and going to consultations, and even when one clinic said, “If you don’t book now, the price will go up starting next month,” I firmly said, I’m going to look around more!! and left.. I think I did the right thing lol The reason I had surgery at this clinic was basically that the biggest factor was 1. the design. No matter how good the clinic is with aftercare, if the initial design doesn’t match the look I’m aiming for, I thought it would be no use at all. As you can probably tell from the photos, I like a glamorous-looking nose, so when I was going around to consultations, I mainly looked for places good at glamorous noses. Here, the director personally looked at the design while drawing it, and what surprised me.. lol was that they honestly told me whether that design would suit me or not. If it seemed too excessively high, they said my nostrils would look lifted from the front, and if the nasal bridge were raised higher than that, my eyes would look too close together, so I was like, ahh~ and it made sense. I really don’t regret getting my nose surgery here. But.. since the clinic is in Sinnonhyeon, going back and forth was so hard ^..^ That’s probably because I live far from Sinnonhyeon lol excluding people this doesn’t apply to. And before surgery, I watched tons of rhinoplasty vlogs, and everyone looked so miserable and had such a hard time that I got scared, but for me, it was better than I expected ㅇ.ㅇ;;; I really think it differs by person. It was just that the splint felt stuffy. It wasn’t to the point where I was suffering so much I couldn’t live. And another amazing thing is that I didn’t get alar reduction, but my bulbous nose was corrected well, which I love.. Other places told me there was no answer unless I got alar reduction lol I didn’t like that my nostrils would become too narrow if I got alar reduction, and the director really made the right choice for me. But since I’m still a beginner who has only just passed one month after rhinoplasty, I’m going to keep watching it!! Hoping this shape stays like this all along.. I’ll stop writing now, my fingers hurt haha If you have anything you’re curious about, feel free to ask hehe Like 1 Sympathy emoticon Translating Would you like to save this review? +1 This is a surgery review for a procedure pursuing a glamorous look.
