Writing a review feels awkward haha First, to explain why I had revision surgery, the incisional ptosis correction I had two years ago came undone, so my eyes became dull-looking, and after my nose surgery, it became deviated, so I had a correction, but it deviated again, so I had revision surgery. I didn’t like both my eyes and nose, so every time I looked in the mirror I felt stressed, and of course I didn’t want to take photos or anything.... So I ended up having revision surgery! In conclusion, for the revision surgery, I had incisional double eyelid surgery and epicanthoplasty for the eyes / Fitme and autologous costal cartilage for the nose. I made this decision thinking that I never want to have revision surgery again. It was my first time having eye and nose surgery at the same time, so I didn’t know how recovery would be, but honestly, I swelled much more than I expected lol. The autologous costal cartilage harvest site hurt too, and because of the swelling my eyes felt a bit heavy.. Still, I think I endured it by thinking about how my face would change lololol. When the splint was removed at one week and I saw my revised eyes and nose together for the first time, it felt fascinating haha. My nose was straight and upright without deviation, and the symmetry was good too. My eyes, which had looked harsh, also became really softer, so my overall face felt gentler. The major swelling hadn’t gone down yet, so it wasn’t the final line, but unlike before the revision surgery, I was satisfied with how clear my eyes and nose had become! From then on, I think I went on walks really often to help the swelling go down. Maybe because it was both eyes and nose, after a little over a month, it felt like the major swelling had gone down. It was definitely more natural and better than right after surgery. As time passes, the minor swelling is gradually going down too, and I think it’s fitting my face better! I’m now at 4 months, so the minor swelling will still go down a bit more from here, right? haha Even now, my operated eyes and nose look natural, and all the problem areas have improved, so I’m really satisfied. I think it was a good decision to do eye and nose revision surgery at once lolol. All the effort I put into researching hospitals was worth it. I like that they operated on my eyes and nose in a way that suits me well! I never want to have revision surgery again now lololol
