Nose Surgery Reviews@rhino-review

Real review of my male rhinoplasty that I paid for myself 1 (consultation part)

I’m a 21-year-old man. My nasal bridge was on the higher side compared with other people’s, but my nasal tip was low, and because I had a short nose, it looked like an upturned nose from the front. The bone between my nose area was really wide. I was so stressed because of my nose that after a lot of thought, I decided to get rhinoplasty. To look for clinics, I searched all over the internet and cosmetic surgery apps like GangX Unni and BaX Talk, and I made a consultation reservation at D Clinic, which I had decided on because they were said to be good at male surgery. When I went into the clinic, since I’m a man and it was my first time going to a plastic surgery clinic, I felt embarrassed, like other people were staring at me? Anyway, I hated seeing myself saying to the staff in a timid voice, “I have a consultation reservation...” But what surprised me was that almost everyone there was male, and there were many foreigners too. The consultation time was a bit long, but the staff were reasonably kind. I took an X-ray, and after a long wait, I consulted with the consultant and then with the director. But from what I felt, the director wasn’t good. He just roughly said, “You can do this and this,” and even when I asked questions, he seemed annoyed, so my desire to do it there disappeared. For wide bone osteotomy + hump + bridge and tip, it came out to around 4.4 million won, but they said it would be 3.7 million won with an event discount. But the consultant also kept changing what she said. She said 3.7 million, then 3.5 million, and there was a lot of pressure to pay a deposit. There were also many directors, so I felt uneasy and just said I wouldn’t do it and hung up. Because the first clinic I went to was so bad, I looked at other clinics with prejudice and thought they would all be the same. This is just my personal opinion, but I thought the internet and apps were full of brokers, so I decided to look for clinics that weren’t really on apps or online. Then I happened to find one place, and there were two directors, both specialized in noses. When I got a consultation, they seemed very confident, spoke realistically, and something about their tone and expressions drew me in. The price was also much cheaper than the first place I went to, so I booked the surgery. To be continued in the next part
