It has been exactly 15 days since my nose surgery. I originally had a bulbous nose, and my skin tissue was very thick. At the hospital where I had surgery, they remove the stitches over the course of 2 weeks.
Today I had the splint fully removed and the stitches taken out. The director said I needed taping so that it would help shape my nose and reduce the swelling, so I got taping done.. (He said that wearing the splint again would be a big help in shaping the nose, but... it felt too suffocating, so I only did the taping.)
He said that as scar tissue builds up,ㅜ my nose could become bigger than it is now, and that if the swelling does not go down, it could stay as nasal flesh.. The director told me to manage it well.
I had said I would post if my bulbous nose surgery went well. The front view has definitely changed, but it did not show up well in photos. (Before taping) I will post once the swelling goes down.
I hope my nose swelling goes down well and that this will be helpful to many people with bulbous noses ㅜㅜ
This is just my personal thought, but whenever I went to the hospital, I saw many people who had nose surgery there, and their noses... were all so pretty!!! Mine probably will not turn out to that extent, though ㅜㅜ
