It’s been a month and a half since my rhinoplasty. The bridge was done with silicone and the nasal tip with autologous costal cartilage. About 2 weeks after surgery, I went on an overseas trip, and because my condition wasn’t good, I swelled a lot. The hospital said travel was possible, so I went. After I came home, it did settle down a bit, but especially when I wake up after sleeping, the nasal bridge swells severely, so I’ve been taking anti-inflammatory medication from the hospital for a week. The swelling has gone down a bit, but there is throbbing pain on the nasal bridge, and when I lie down, I feel pressure. Is that normal? The hospital says it could be a silicone side effect. If I remove it, would there be no separate cost? And at about a month and a half after surgery, do you swell a lot after sleeping and waking up?
칸쵸 If you’re removing it at the hospital where you had surgery, don’t they usually only charge the anesthesia fee?
