I had braces done by extracting only two lower teeth, without removing any upper teeth. It was really hard while I was going through it. I had to go every week to have the metal in my braces changed, and once it was changed, it would be tightened again, and that day was pure hell... Seriously, make sure to take painkillers... And when they pull teeth, they give you an anesthetic injection, if the injection is done well, you won't bleed, but if they jab it in carelessly, you bleed a lot.... Make sure to tell the doctor to do it properly........ When you finish orthodontic treatment, it really feels refreshing, but they tell you to wear a retainer, and I was lazy and didn't wear it, so the upper teeth that weren't extracted shifted back... I think it's better to just have two teeth extracted on both the top and bottom.
