For my first surgery, they used ear cartilage, and because of my hump, they shaved the nasal bone. Then the cartilage was absorbed and the bone grew back, so for the second surgery, they shaved the bone and inserted silicone. Now that 4 years have passed, I’m thinking about removal... As my skin has gotten thinner, it shows through, I get headaches, there’s a foreign-body sensation, it gets extremely red when it’s cold, and it’s slightly crooked... I’m worried that if I remove it, there may be contracture or it may look spread out.
