Originally, I had large, long monolid eyes with fat.. I wasn’t originally planning to get double eyelid surgery. I was going to get facial contouring surgery, but I didn’t have the money, so I thought I’d at least get double eyelid surgery instead.
I had it done outside Seoul, and I think I paid around 1.2 million won? for partial incision + epicanthoplasty + ptosis correction. I didn’t get it from someone famous, just from someone available at a big hospital, but the result was successful. I said I wanted inner double eyelids, but they made it in-out, though since the result was good, I’m just satisfied. Because of my eyes, my impression changed 180 degrees, and I went from a plain, common-looking person to someone pretty. But before doing it, I used double eyelid glue/liquid for about six months, so I had slight uneven eyes, and even after surgery they’re still slightly uneven. But maybe because they’re uneven, everyone doesn’t think I had surgery.. Everyone thought they were natural, and when I said I had double eyelid surgery, they were all surprised.
Anyway, on the first day, there wasn’t much swelling, so I thought it would look similar even after the swelling went down and thought it had failed, but no.. One month is different, six months is different, and one year is different.. Sometimes when I read reviews, there are people who say it looks like sausage eyes and think it failed even though it’s only been a week or a few days, but you need to wait a little longer before judging..
At one month, I also thought I shouldn’t have gotten double eyelid surgery and told my mom I wanted to undo it and all that, but looking at old photos, it seems the swelling was all gone by six months. Around six months, I don’t think I even had morning eye swelling anymore. But that surgical mark? The mark from ptosis correction? Anyway, that still hasn’t disappeared even after three years. It’s not noticeable, but you can see it when I close my eyes.
Now that my eyes turned out well, I want to fix my round face Somehow I think I’ll end up getting facial contouring too....
