It’s kind of fascinating that a site like this exists, so as a joining greeting, I’m leaving a review of having double-eyelid surgery twice.
In 2007, I had a consultation for epicanthoplasty and double-eyelid surgery, and even back then I paid 2 million won for it. I thought it would be sedation anesthesia, but it was local anesthesia. Whenever they asked me to open my eyes in the middle to check the line, I opened them, and when the anesthesia wore off, I got injected againㅋㅋㅋㅋ I really remember the anesthetic injections being so painful even now. The swelling wasn’t too severe, and I was satisfied as I gradually looked prettier, but around 6 months later all the swelling had gone down, and after about 2 years the line had become a lot thinner. Since a lot of time passed, it faded a lot, so it didn’t look like I had surgery at all and even looked slightly loosened, so I went ahead with revision surgery.
After that, I had surgery once again in 2014. This clinic was different from the one above. They said they were really good and very experienced, and it was also the clinic my mom went to. Their skill was indeed good, and because her results were so good, I also went for a consultation and decided on surgery!! Since it had loosened, I had the incisional method, and the result was disastrous.... They were uneven, scar tissue formed, and after surgery it gradually loosened, and because there wasn’t enough extra skin, it became difficult to have any further surgery. Honestly, I think it was better before.
A total fail... ㅠ Just because someone else had good results really doesn’t mean everyone will.
Originally, if my eye surgery had gone well, I wanted to get nose surgery too, but because the result was bad, I was extremely stressed, and I couldn’t go back to how I was before, so in the end I didn’t get nose surgery. Just looking in the mirror at my failed eye surgery made me so irritated. The scars have gradually faded, so now they’re tolerable to look at, but it’s still an upsetting memory. So please don’t just hear that a place is good and rush into it quickly. I recommend looking into it more personally, having a thorough consultation, and then getting surgery~
