Hello. I had silicone, septal cartilage, and ear cartilage done 8 years ago, and 10 days ago I had surgery to remove the silicone. At first, there was some pain when I touched it, and there was swelling around the glabella, but now there is almost no pain even when I touch it. Aside from a little discomfort when washing my face, it’s fine, and I guess all the swelling has gone down, because my nasal bridge and glabella already feel hard when I touch them. But on the left side, there is a very tiny, slightly bulging? area that only I seem to notice. When I asked, they said it was scar tissue and that it would soften after a little more time. After removing the silicone, my face definitely looks a bit wider haha, but I guess that can’t be helped. When the nasal bridge is high, the face itself looks smaller haha. It’s okay. First of all, the best thing is that when the silicone was in, maybe because my skin is thin, it shone a bit under lighting lol. Now that shine is completely gone, so I like that~ If my nasal bridge looks low, I think diligently doing natural contour shading is much better! I think a small and cute nose is prettier than an obvious-looking surgical nose!! Of course, everyone has different values haha!! I hope everyone’s removal goes well!!
Oh, and I think my nasal bridge is somewhere between a natural nose and a surgically enhanced nose~ My completely natural nasal bridge had been extinct, but now I have a bit of one haha! The major swelling is all gone now!
