I’m really scared of things, so after deciding to get nose surgery, I looked into a lot of hospitalsㅠㅠ Among them, I narrowed it down and visited about 5 places in person, then made my decision and had surgery last Thursday! I used septal cartilage and ear cartilage for the nasal tip, and had silicone placed in the bridge Oh, I had a slight hump on the bridge, so they shaved the bone a bit, and I also had columella lowering
After surgery on the first day, I came home, and swelling started in the evening. By Friday, I was super swollenㅋ큐ㅠㅠ My eyes were so swollen they wouldn’t open, and my upper lip was really swollen too lol I did a ton of cold compresses all day, ate, and took my medicine, and by Saturday a lot of it had gone down, so it was okay. I did cold compresses until day 3 and warm compresses from the next day! As for pain, aside from the first evening when it hurt as it suddenly swelled, it was okay. The hard part was that I could only breathe through my mouth, so food had no taste, and at dawn my mouth got so dry that I kept waking upㅠㅠ Really, other than breathing, everything was okay! Some people said the ear hurts more, so I was a little worried, but my ear didn’t hurt that much
Today I finally went to the hospital and had the cotton removed from my nose, the lower stitches removed, and the ear stitches removed. The cotton was inserted much deeper than I expected lol Having the stitches removed only stung a little.. Once my nose was completely open, it felt so relievingㅠㅠ The director even applied ointment, and after I moved to another spot and was listening to the precautions, my head started feeling lightheaded, so I lay down on the sofa to rest and then listened to the explanation again. They said that can happen if you get too nervousㅠㅠ I think I was tense because I’m so scared lol I’m going back on Saturday to have the splint removed. I’m so curious how it turned out..
