When choosing a hospital, my older sister had revision rhinoplasty three times, so she knew things too well, so I didn’t really have a choice;; Still, I went to consultations at 4-5 places before choosing a hospital.
The director was very serious, but also kind, and I laughed and felt comfortable during the consultation, so I decided to go ahead with surgery. My face is so flat that I wanted a lot of height, but my ears are also very small, so they said that if I wanted that much height, I would need costal cartilage.
I had surgery with ear cartilage + costal cartilage. On the day itself, my nose hurt a lot, but the next day, after they removed the packing, it was truly heaven. Since after the day of surgery, I had no pain at all, just a slight stinging feeling. I had the stitches removed in less than a week, and it was really refreshing and relieving!! I thought it would hurt, but it didn’t hurt at all.
Before surgery, from the front my nose looked like a car shape and was bent in a C shape, but my nostrils became more refined and the overall shape of the nose turned out well!! I’m a little worried the bridge height might go down as the swelling goes away, but more than that, I like the overall line and shape, so it’s fine haha
