Today is exactly my 3-week mark. I think I also spent 2-3 years just thinking about rhinoplasty, and I researched so much through cafes and apps and got a lot of help, so I'm posting a review haha
I had everything done: nasal bridge, nasal tip, and osteotomy. The swelling really lasted a long timeㅠ It's only week 3, but it feels like the nasal tip swelling hasn't gone down at all.
Until one week after surgery, I think I really cried a lotㅠ Because the nasal tip was so high that it kept feeling like an upturned nose. At that time I posted a lot on apps and cafes and searched so much, and many people who replied said it would come down once the swelling went down. It did come down, but I can still see my nostrils clearly from the frontㅠ
At week 1, I had the external stitches removed, and at week 2, the internal stitches removed. After removing them, the swelling went down quite a lot. But it's still only week 3, so I guess it needs more time to look natural on my faceㅠ Right now, from the side, it looks like someone is pulling only the nasal tip.
Rhinoplasty has pros and cons, but if I could go back, I don't think I would do it. For my previous nose too, I only got filler on the bridge and sometimes heard people ask if I'd had cosmetic surgery, so unless it's really unattractive, I don't think you get a dramatic effect. The law that the original base doesn't change.....
I know the swelling will go down a lot more, but when will the nasal tip swelling go down? Now that the glabella swelling has gone down a lot, all I can see is the nasal tipㅠㅠ I'll post another progress update around the 2-month mark.
