Including my first rhinoplasty, this is my 4th surgery Because of severe rhinitis, I first had rhinoplasty together with cosmetic correction, but I didn’t like the shape, so I had a revision. After that surgery, things got worse and I experienced complications, so I had to do it again. After my previous surgery, I was happy because there was a lot of functional improvement, but the height was excessive, so it felt far from the natural and pretty look I wanted. People around me kept saying it looked like a man’s nose or that my nose was too high, and it really stressed me out. I prefer a delicate, compact, natural East Asian kind of beauty So I carefully prepared for this revision, thinking this would truly be my last surgery. While consulting with several clinics and thinking it over, I met Director Ji Seung-ryeol at Another Plastic Surgery and felt certain. The director understood what I wanted before I even fully explained it, and the consultation was extremely thorough, so I trusted him. On top of that, he seemed very good at creating natural, pretty noses that fit today’s trends, so I decided right away! I came out after surgery, and there was less swelling than I expected, so it was okay. I guess I really am suited for surgery, haha By around day 5, a lot of the swelling had gone down and I could see the line well, and even just looking at the taping line, I was so satisfied. Today marks exactly one week, so I had the taping removed and the stitches taken out. It definitely feels different from my previous surgeries. They shaped it well with donated rib cartilage, so the nasal tip hasn’t drooped and is beautifully supported. Since I also had correction for my crooked nose and septum, my face overall seems more harmonious, so I’m completely satisfied!! It’s still hard to say for sure because of the swelling, but this time it feels so good. I hope the rest of the swelling goes down quickly so I can go out and enjoy spring looking pretty!
