Nose Surgery Reviews@rhino-review

First surgery review for a hump nose (currently day 4) (photo is from day 2...

Although it was my very, very first surgery, I made the brave choice to just do it all at once, so I went for eyes/nose at the same time and am regretting it now....

For my nose, it was something like hump osteotomy + my own cartilage (ear) + donated costal cartilage (they said my septal cartilage was terrible..) I said absolutely no silicone (because I’m prone to a lot of inflammation...) For the design, I didn’t want a higher nasal bridge, so I asked for it to be as natural as possible, mainly focusing on the nasal tip.. haha

Right after surgery: I was a bit dazed about what had happened, but I became timid seeing my changed appearance and started hiding at home

Day 1: I can’t get used to the cotton inside my nose. Fluid + blood keep coming out of my nose, so it’s really scary, and my eyes are so swollen I can barely seeㅠㅠ I feel needlessly sad and do cold/warm compresses diligently.. but I strongly keep thinking, did I do this for nothing? When I went to the clinic for disinfection, they said they would remove the cotton inside my nose on day 3 or 4. Thinking about breathing through my mouth until then makes me so sad

Day 2: I still can’t get used to the cotton inside my nose, and breathing through my mouth is annoying too. There is truly no pain in the nose itself, but the ear where they harvested cartilage keeps bothering me and hurts Honestly, the pain is like nose pain << ear pain <<<< nasal congestion?

Day 3: I’m slowly getting used to breathing through my mouth. Fluid and blood are still coming out, so it’s annoying... (I’m very worried) The swelling from my swollen eyes has moved downward, so my face shape has changed...!!

Day 4: They removed the cotton from my nose!!! Eureka!!! I feel like I can live now!!! But I thought I’d be able to smell a lot more, yet I actually can’t smell muchㅠㅠㅠ Now I think I just need the irritating pain in my ear to go away. The ear pain is... like that pulling feeling behind your ears when you’re not used to wearing a mask? I asked at the clinic, and they said it can last for monthsㅠㅠㅠ

ps: Until when does the fluid keep coming out?ㅠㅠ
