Since it was my first surgery, I think I mainly went around to the big clinics that came up in searches. I went to as many as 7 places lol Most were plastic surgery clinics in Seomyeon, and I just went around the places clustered near Lotte Department Store, like ㅎㄴ, ㅍㄹㄷㅇ, Face something, etc. lol I also went to the famous ㅈㅇㅊ near Kyungdae. What I wanted was an unreasonable request: I wanted my eyes to look bigger while still having monolids, so I said I wanted the double eyelid line extremely low, just enough to make my original eyes a little bigger. Then every single one of them advised against itㅠ Then I ended up going around Centum too, and first went to ㄴㅂㄹㅅ. It was a big clinic, so there were lots of people and it was expensive. Then the last place I went to was ㅅㅅㄱ Plastic Surgery, and it was a clinic with one director. It was small in scale too. This place recommended the simplest surgical method. They said I didn’t need ptosis correction and could do it with non-incisional buried sutures. The price was 550,000 won. They also said they would match what I wanted, and I didn’t do sedation anesthesia, I just got injections in my eyes lololol It was harder than any hospital treatment I’ve ever experienced in my life. And I’m someone who has even had surgery under general anesthesia...
After having the surgery, I lived satisfied with it, but now the right side is slowly starting to come undone. Also, I became curious about the higher line that every doctor in the past had recommended, so I went for revision surgery consultations (currently in Seoul). But they all said my current line turned out just right, and that even if I tried to do more, the only options would be canthoplasty or a forehead lift, so I should just live with it. That made me feel grateful to my first doctor again. Everywhere I went, they said that for the distance between my eyebrows and eyes, the current line is optimal. It was a small clinic, but he’s still doing well. My mom was tempted too after seeing mine lolol
Ah, I have very little fat in my eyelids. To the point that they said even if I were to have revision surgery again, non-incisional buried sutures would still be fine.
