My daughter had fat grafting in the anterior cheekbone area. She also had double-chin surgery at the same time, and she is very satisfied with the double-chin surgery. But with the fat grafting, nasolabial folds appeared for a long time, so she had such a hard time emotionally I found out that nasolabial folds can be a side effect of fat grafting. Fortunately, a lot of it has gone down now, so it’s okay, but for about the first 2 months, she really regretted it a lot. Rather than it being a problem with fat grafting itself, I think it was probably an issue with my daughter’s skin quality or elasticity, but anyway, I don’t think fat grafting should be done lightly either.
