Daegu Rhinoplasty Consultation Review

Today I finally chose a clinic and paid the deposit.. I had been looking into it since 2023, going back and forth about whether to do it or not, and the moment I set the date and walked out today, I felt so relieved lol First of all, my skin is on the thinner side, I have a very slight hump, an average nasal bridge, a high nasal dorsum, and a really low nasal tip, so I went around for consultations thinking about non-implant rhinoplasty!!  I decided to do it in Daegu, so I had consultations at a total of three places: ㅇㅇㅈ, ㅇㅅ, and ㅂㅁ 1) ㅇㅇㅈ (Director ㅇㅇㅈ) Nasal bridge silicone, nasal tip septal cartilage, 5 million won No matter how I thought about it, the price felt abnormal, and the doctor’s style was also very firm and on the extreme side.. They seemed to like a glamorous style, and I felt it wouldn’t fit me, so I passed..~ I heard it was the most famous in Daegu, so I booked it as my first consultation, but the explanation was vague.. and they didn’t seem willing to take questions, so hmm.. They said that if they performed the surgery, complications would absolutely (they emphasized this a lot) not occur, but somehow that really lowered my trust there.. Should I say it felt like even if complications happened later, they would blame the patient..? It felt a bit like that But looking at it positively, since the surgeon has an incredible amount of confidence, there must be a reason, so it did make me feel a bit of trust lol 2) ㅇㅅ (Director ㅇㅊㅎ) Non-implant nasal tip ear cartilage, nasal tip suturing, alar reduction, 3.5 million won The consultation itself was good; they showed me a lot of reference materials and explained things kindly! Other places hadn’t said my septal cartilage was insufficient, but they said my septal cartilage was lacking, so they would build the support column with ear cartilage. I asked because I was worried about absorption, and they showed me review photos, but they were all within 6 months, so it felt a little unclear.. The doctor’s style itself seemed to pursue naturalness, and I felt this doctor matched the nose shape I wanted the best. They said silicone would look too artificial and recommended non-implant rhinoplasty. They also recommended alar reduction, saying it would be good to do it! 3) ㅂㅁ (Director ㅅㅈㅁ) Non-implant, nasal tip suturing, nasal tip septal cartilage, 3.1 million won The consultation schedule was fully booked, so I waited about a month. Among the places I went to, this was the only one where they took face photos before the consultation. The director was very calm and quiet.. They only told me exactly the surgeries I needed.  I brought up alar reduction, and they said there was no need, and that it is not good to do rhinoplasty and alar reduction together. Still, they said that if I really wanted to do it, it would be better to do it separately after some time had passed.. Here too, they said there was no need to use an implant and that it seemed enough to raise only the nasal tip into a straight-line look. They touched and examined my nose very carefully, then said it could be raised using septal cartilage. When I said I had heard at another clinic that my septal cartilage was insufficient, they said it was not insufficient. And they said ear cartilage is almost absorbed if stacked in three or more layers, so it did not suit my case. Compared with Seoul, Daegu has much less information and fewer clinics, so if there’s anyone like me who doesn’t have people around them who know this kind of information, I hope this helps even a little..!
