My two front teeth were really big and protruding My mouth always stuck out in a sulky-looking way, so people kept asking if I was angry ㅜㅠ I couldn’t smile brightly because I was always trying to cover my front teeth..
So I made up my mind to get braces, and in a short period of time I had all 4 premolars extracted, and while I was at it, all 4 impacted wisdom teeth too I got them all pulled out hahaha
They said it would take 2 years, but in the end it took 3 and a half years When I look at the before-and-after orthodontic photos, the difference is shocking lol When I looked at my old side profile, my lips protruded more than my nose...lol After taking off the braces, I think I really smiled brightly without worrying about anything
But after about 3 years passed, the extraction spaces gradually started opening up ㅠㅠㅠ It’s not all of them, but the areas where rings were placed (for gold crowns or teeth where brackets don’t attach properly, they put on something like a thin metal plate ㅠ) stay open and don’t close At the end, when all the brackets were removed, the spaces where the rings had been were slightly open, so I asked the doctor if those spots wouldn’t close, and they said they would gradually close over time Bullshit, they didn’t close ㅜㅠ So food gets stuck way too often in a few spots.. They keep opening up, and I feel like my front teeth are gradually protruding again..ㅠㅠ
Still, it’s much better than living without having done it, so I’m satisfied haha
