I knew it as a hospital that advertises a lot and is famous for facial contouring, but while I was looking into facial contouring, I ended up doing my eyes first. I remember paying about 2.3 million won at the time for epicanthoplasty, fat removal, incisional double eyelid surgery, and ptosis correction. I also had a consultation for lateral canthoplasty, but the doctor objectively said there was no space so it probably wouldn't be effective, so I left that out and proceeded.
I did get quite a lot done, but it was still a fairly large amount of money for eye surgery,, It seems like about 6 years have passed since the surgery, and I'm living fine without discomfort. When my eyes are open, the in-out line looks natural, so it feels like my own eyes, almost as if I never had surgery.
But the problem is that the degree of ptosis correction differs on both sides, so the opening strength is slightly different, and if a photo is taken at a bad angle, it can look like strabismus? When I close my eyes, the line remains very clearly visible. The epicanthoplasty scar is slightly visible too.
I do regret that back then, during university vacation, I just did it in a hurry without looking into hospitals properly, but it isn't bad enough to interfere with daily life, so I'm just living with it! Since the distance between my eyes and eyebrows is close, even though I want revision surgery, these days it just stays as a thought
