It’s already been a month since I had rhinoplasty with donated costal cartilage at Lowell Plastic Surgery! Before surgery, since it was my first surgery, I was quite worried about sedation anesthesia, and I was scared it would hurt a lot afterward. But once I closed and opened my eyes, the surgery was already over, and although it was more uncomfortable than painful, it was okay compared with how much I had worried. During the preoperative consultation, both the consultant and Director Kim Jae-yoon were kind and gave me a thorough consultation without overtreatment, which I liked. After removing the splint and until week 2, my nose looked very unnatural so I was worried, but now that it has been about a month, I’m relieved because it seems to be gradually becoming more natural.. People around me say my side profile still looks a bit awkward, but that the surgery seems to have gone well and that it looks pretty haha I’m really looking forward to it becoming more natural and even prettier! I’m still being careful because I can’t really touch my nose or blow it hard yet, but I’m doing well.
