First of all, my nose is low and broad, with a bulbous tip. I wanted to do it without an implant if possible, but even I thought that probably wouldn’t work with my nose lol So since I was going to do it anyway, I went in with the mindset of making it glamorous and getting everything perfectly sorted out! 1. ㅇㅂㄹ(ㄱㄷㅇ) / CT scan O, consultation fee 10,000 KRW Materials: custom implant 4–4.5 mm + autologous costal cartilage + ear cartilage behind the ear If you want a natural look, ear cartilage + septal cartilage would be enough, but because the shape I wanted was glamorous and high, they recommended autologous costal cartilage (they do not use cadaveric rib cartilage) They carefully checked my facial asymmetry, and since my nose is slightly crooked, they said they would tilt the silicone axis slightly to one side The director seems to pursue a natural look, but also seems to actively reflect patients’ needs When I said it was my first consultation, he kindly walked me through everything step by step and explained it all in detail, which I liked! The director explained while drawing, and it felt professional.. he explained things very clearly and in an easy-to-understand way He said my nose is short, small, low, and has thick skin, so there are limits, and if I make it glamorous it will get pinched and lifted, so it should be done naturally This was the opposite opinion from the first clinic I visited, ㅇㅂㄹ, so I was shocked.. if you don’t prepare questions, the consultation ends quickly. Since it was early in my clinic visits, I didn’t have many questions, which was disappointing But there was no mention of my facial asymmetry or the crooked part of my nose While going around for consultations, a lot of places said my septal cartilage is smaller than average, so I wonder if it can even be used ▶ 4 review posts, 4,900,000 KRW (slight pressure about the deposit)
3. ㅋㅇ(ㄱㅎㅌ) / CT scan O, consultation fee 10,000 KRW Materials: silicone 5–4 mm + autologous costal cartilage The wait was short, and there was someone who looked like they came in for a follow-up, and their nose was pretty, which raised my favorability.. The director spoke in a gentle, kind tone, explained using Photoshop corrections and drawings, and because it was glamorous, I liked it He said my nose is very low and broad, so we should raise it overall and improve it a lot! He mentioned that the septum is a little crooked, but that it is fine at that level The director seemed to pay attention to exact numbers and proportions! He measured the width, length, and height of my nose with something like a triangle ruler At other places, there were extra charges by item (bulbous nose correction, nasolabial angle, columella, etc.), but here they said the price would stay the same without extras Again, it was early in my clinic visits, so I didn’t have many questions, which was disappointing ▶ 5,500,000 KRW with review post before and after surgery

The total consultation time (manager > director > manager) was 2 hours 30 minutes, and 2 hours of that was waiting lol I lost favorability little by little while waiting more than an hour just to see the director.. still, both the director and the manager were kind The director drew on my nose with Photoshop and it looked pretty I wasn’t planning to do alar reduction, but it was recommended. They said I could leave it out if I felt uncomfortable, but the director recommended it Here, they said my septal cartilage was usable, which was surprising (every other place said it was small) There was a clear before-and-after difference in similar cases, so that was somewhat tempting Here, every item had its own charge, so the final cost was crazy expensive ㄷㄷ But the manager said sorry for making me wait so long and kept cutting the price, which was nice, but it felt too much like business ▶ 4 review posts and discount, 6,800,000 KRW
5. ㄹㅋㅋ(ㄱㅅㅎ) / CT scan X, consultation fee 10,000 KRW Materials: silicone 3 mm + ear cartilage + nasolabial angle It can be made glamorous, but it can get pinched, so they recommended a natural look I would have to give up a bit on the small, high nose I wanted and go for something natural. The frontal effect wouldn’t be great, but the side view would be fine When explaining things like a pinched nose and bulbous nose, he kept asking if I had looked at his blog post.. it seems better to read it beforehand..?(I hadn’t, so I was a bit awkward) He said my septal cartilage is small so it can’t be used, and that my nose is slightly crooked He also pointed out other problems with my nose, and just from this consultation, it felt like I’d be doomed if I had rhinoplasty (the despair version of rhinoplasty) He said if I get more questions later, I can leave a comment on the blog and he’ll answer ▶ Cost 4,000,000 KRW (the price itself was cheap, so I didn’t even ask about a review discount)
6. ㅈㅇㅌ(ㄱㅈㅌ) / CT scan, no consultation fee Materials: silicone 3 mm + cadaveric rib cartilage + septal cartilage + ear cartilage The director consultation was really good. He pressed and adjusted my nose a lot, then drew and erased with a pencil on my printed side-profile photo Looking at the Yeji photo I brought, he drew diligently along that line, and I liked the drawing I wondered why he was drawing so seriously, and he said they would put this drawing up during surgery and follow it while operating While drawing, he explained in great detail and very kindly what materials and methods would be used. It was the consultation where I understood rhinoplasty the best! Since this is my first surgery but I wanted to be certain, I had been thinking about autologous costal cartilage, but the director kept recommending cadaveric rib cartilage and steering me that way I asked about the pinched-nose issue after hearing about it at two other places, and he said it definitely wouldn’t be like that ▶ Cost 4,400,000 KRW (the price itself was cheap, so I didn’t even ask about a review discount)
Everyone, the rhinoplasty clinic-visit reviews here helped me a lot, so I’m leaving this in hopes that it helps someone else a little too~~ I visited all 6 places like this and made a reservation at one of them! I really think the answer is to visit a lot of places for nose surgery! Contouring was actually easier.. As I went around for consultations, I found out my nose is actually a small nose ㄷㄷ It only feels big because it’s broad; proportionally, it’s a small nose.. a complete mess, really
