I had it done on the 19th at the 1:30 slot! I posted not long after getting silicone removal surgery on the 19th, and I wanted to post once after getting the taping taken off too!
First of all, my natural nose had a somewhat existing bridge, but the nasal tip was low and wide So I wanted to do only the nasal tip, but every place I consulted said it wouldn’t look pretty if I only did the nasal tip, so I had surgery with 3 mm silicone + ear cartilage! ( I should’ve only done the nasal tip.. the biggest regret of my life )
Anyway, it was fine until about two months after, but after that I gradually started to see it bending to one side (my original nose was a bit deviated) After that, it gradually got to the point where even the cartilage showed through... I lived for 2 years with a nose that was almost deviated and had a little cartilage show-through! Because except for very sharp-eyed people, most people didn’t really notice the deviation and show-throughㅠㅠ
Then I felt it was getting more and more serious, and decided at the place where I had the surgery to remove only the silicone
Still, the doctor who did my surgery was kind... It was closer to reconstruction rather than simple removal.... Because of the show-through, he only charged me for the cost of adding AlloDerm and said it was possible to remove all the cartilage and silicone, and that contracture would not occur Then, while showing me photos from before my nose surgery, he said that after the nose surgery the columellar angle had become so pretty, so if I felt it was a shame, we should keep using the nasal cartilage as is and just reposition it. I ended up having surgery according to that.
First of all, today is exactly day 6 since I came back after getting the taping removed! The nasal tip is definitely lifted!!! But as I felt with my previous nose surgery too, when it looks lifted in the beginning, it does come down to some extent And the nasal bridge has also become flat! It can’t be helped, I guess..
Other than that, I don’t really have any particular complaints so far.. Even if it looks strange, I’m just going to live like thisㅜㅜ Nose surgery is something I will absolutely~~~~~~ never let my daughter have!!!!!!!!!
