It’s almost been 6 months. I have almost no complaints about my nose. My breathing has gone back to normal, and the pressure on the bridge is gone, so I don’t have insomnia anymore either. It’s fair to say that almost all the problems caused by my nose have basically gone away, so I’m much more comfortable.
Aesthetically, I don’t think it looks badly off either. As for the bridge, I removed the silicone, so it did drop quite a bit, but it feels like it’s gone back to how I was born. In other reviews, people say it looks like some kind of sea monster face? Or that the bridge was completely filed down, but it doesn’t look so unnatural that it doesn’t look human.
As for the tip, maybe because I had alar reduction, I removed everything, but it doesn’t look like my original broad, flat nose. The director said that the inner wall of my nose had collapsed, so to straighten it out, they placed dissolvable threads in the middle, and maybe because of that, my nose seems to have become straighter. It’s prettier than my original nose, aesthetically speaking, but it doesn’t stand out. And it looks quite natural.
However, the septal cartilage implanted behind my ear hurt so much that I had it removed on December 5. I really want to tell people not to insert septal cartilage unless absolutely necessary. I’ll explain the painful symptoms in detail. They make an incision of about 10 cm behind the ear along the hairline. When they first give the anesthesia to insert it, the numbness and tingling goes all the way to my shoulder... For a month, I couldn’t lie straight on a pillow, and my teeth even went numb so I couldn’t eat properly. Since they spread the area open to insert it, even if you get used to the initial pain, it’s very uncomfortable because it’s the part that touches the temple of your glasses. I think it was always being pressed against my pillow too, and it was hard to even lift my head and look upward. I do not recommend getting it implanted.
