I visited full of high expectations. I got to see the director’s face too. The director was a bit strictly mechanical. The manager had only recently started here, they said. I sent several hundred thousand won as a deposit, and they called the director over so I could meet him in person. He had a very chic, cool-water kind of vibe. After the director left and the manager followed him out, I was left alone waiting in the consultation room for a long time. I was thinking, what is this, I still have to go to another hospital consultation, I’m going to be delayed, and got anxious. I could even hear murmuring outside. Then the manager came back in and suddenly said I needed to send over 1 million won or more as the deposit. I was surprised. When I asked why, they said I had a history of depression a few years ago (fully recovered), and that the director said if there has been depression, or something like that from the review side, then I had to send over 1 million won or more. At the time, it felt very burdensome and a bit unpleasant. It was so sudden, but I had to go to my next consultation, and since the explanation was getting long I said, ah, okay, I need to go consult somewhere else first. After that I called the hospital and asked why it suddenly changed to 1 million, and they said it was hospital policy. Other hospitals explain the surgical method in detail, right? Like this material has this function, and this material does that... So it’s fixed like this... But I couldn’t even hear the consultation in detail, so I felt uneasy about leaving my face to them..
