I finally had removal surgery. I just had it done and am on my way home by taxi. I had the surgery under sedation anesthesia, and I think it ended within about an hour. After the surgery, while half-awake, I asked the nurse if I had said anything weird, and she said I fell asleep right away and just slept lol What a huge relief.. I was really worried that a lot of manipulation had been done inside, so I decided on full removal, but fortunately? they said that at the time, only an L-shaped silicone implant and cartilage repositioning had been done. After the surgery, they showed me the silicone, and I felt relieved but also in a mood I can’t quite describe lol Even during the consultation right before surgery, the director asked me one last time if I really wanted to remove it when there was nothing wrong, but honestly, I think nose implant removal is really mostly a psychological issue. No matter how much I told other people, it felt like I was the only one who had become mentally unwell and overly sensitive. I had prepared myself a lot for becoming less attractive, and for now I feel relieved haha Anyway, I had the surgery, and I’m going back tomorrow for dressing, so I’ll come write another post!
