Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redo

Early removal review_day 15

I had early removal on the 19th day after nose surgery. The reason for removal, surgical method, etc. are in my previous post. Please read the previous post before commenting..

I’ll write in diary format!

Today is day 15 after silicone removal. The major swelling has all gone down.

Maybe because it was simple removal without inflammation, the doctor didn’t mention a contraction phase or contracture separately. Lizaben? contracture medication? I’m not taking that either.

The doctor said that occasionally some people’s noses may turn upward just in case, so from the 1-month mark, I should massage my nose. The massage method is just, when applying lotion, rub the nose downward from the glabella to the nasal tip in smooth strokes.

There is a nose scar. It’s not severe, but the mark is darker than after the first surgery. I think it will gradually disappear, so I’m not paying attention to it.

I’m satisfied with the nose shape. It’s exactly between my original nose and my surgical nose, a third nose.

The previous surgical method was 2 mm silicone, 2 layers of ear cartilage on the nasal tip, and an ear cartilage strut at the nasal tip.

During removal, they removed the silicone, removed only 1 layer from the nasal tip, and lowered the ear cartilage strut by half.

So currently, in my nose, there is 1 layer of ear cartilage at the nasal tip and a bit of a strut! It doesn’t show at all and looks natural and so pretty. It’s just right. ㅠㅠ I don’t even know if there is a contraction phase or not. I don’t feel it.

I seriously regret it so much, thinking I should have just had nasal tip surgery from the start lol

The inside of my nose sometimes stings, but it doesn’t hurt.

I’m so satisfied. ㅠ Removal was a success. Oh, for those who are doing early removal, they say 2-3 weeks is the right timing. But they say the sooner, the better.
