I think this hospital being unfriendly would be fine if the results were good. But the results were bad. Before surgery, they just went ahead without shaping the line or discussing it with me. I thought they'd discuss it with me while doing it.. My fault for being hasty since it was my first time, I hadn't been to many consultations, and it was on YouTube right away, plus they said there was an opening the next day after the consultation.. My first double eyelid surgery ended up making my eyes asymmetric. They were asymmetrical from the first surgery, and the lines are uneven too, and functionally one side feels off. I went for two follow-up consultations, and they said there was nothing more they could do. The consultation manager also brushed off AS from the beginning. It smelled strongly of cigarettes on the staff's hand during the procedure, which was unpleasant. When the result is bad, everything starts to bother you. These days I've been reading a lot, and the side with the asymmetric eye feels irritated and swollen on the inside like a stye, so I definitely need to go for revision surgery this winter. And most importantly, no one has ever told me I looked prettier or asked where I got it done.. I used to be pretty confident in my appearance, but I took double eyelid surgery lightly and now I regret it a lot ..
