I had double eyelid surgery before, but I’m leaving a review to level up in this community. I did it at ㄱㅁㄴ clinic near Tanbang Station! Since I think I’m supposed to use initials.. if there’s a problem, please let me know in the comments! I think I went to and consulted at most plastic surgery clinics in Daejeon, like ㄷㅌㅅㅁ, ㄷㄷㅈㅇ, and ㅍㅇㅅ, but since I was a student, my budget wasn’t good.. So I did it at ㄱㅁㄴ! I found out about the clinic through an acquaintance I know.
Thinking back.. first of all, it wasn’t sedation anesthesia? general anesthesia? Nothing like that, it was injection anesthesia. It stings and tears well up.. but still, I felt more at ease being awake and clear-headed. You can hear sounds like cutting and cauterizing tissue. At that time, I did epicanthoplasty and double eyelid surgery (incision), and I remember paying around 1 million won. The front desk staff were also kind,, and I originally didn’t have completely monolids; because of double eyelid tape, there was something like a line left, so maybe they followed that, but it looks natural! After about three months? I felt like one eye had come undone, so I went back, and they did an AS only on that eye (they only charged the anesthesia fee). But now I want to do the opposite side that didn’t have revision surgery lololol If I end up doing it, I think I’ll get the revision done here again too. I don’t know if they also do lateral canthoplasty, upper canthoplasty? lower canthoplasty? I excluded lateral/lower canthoplasty from the start.
Recovery was really fast. I don’t know about my skin/tissue type, but from the second week I drank a ton in Dunsan-dong.
Ah, there is only one director, so I had it done by that doctor,, It’s been 3 years now, and I’m doing well without side effects.
Conclusion: if you’re getting surgery in Daejeon but plastic surgery clinic costs feel burdensome, I recommend it~~
