Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redo

It’s the Day of Nose Removal, Day 1!

I had the removal done after 2 weeks, and I had it done at the hospital where I originally had the surgery. The reason for removal should be in my previous post. For the osteotomy, they only lightly fractured the wing? area, so the place where the hump was refined may be left slightly uneven, but they said I could return to my original nose.

However, when I asked, they said the nose may become slightly upturned or may not, but no place can guarantee 100%, so I just trusted them and had it removed. Right after removal there was no contraction, and my nose was red and came down to its original shape, but it is a bit swollen. I think I will have to keep watching for contraction!

They say early removal should be done within 2-3 weeks so it can be removed easily before it adheres to the skin. If you feel like this is not right, do it quickly! Otherwise, wait 6 months and revise it with revision surgery. I think that is your own choice. For me, I could not live through that period with a face I did not want while waiting, knowing I would have to touch it again later and suffer.

Maybe because they opened and operated again on something that had been operated on 2 weeks ago, my body condition seems better than the first time, but the pain seems a bit worse. My skin is sensitive ㅠ

After surgery, I also did not like how I looked, and when my nose became red I felt anxious. Nose surgery is expensive, you know. I was so upset that I had spent money and time and it turned out badly, my parents were upset too, and I was really depressed. I had so many nightmares too. I even cried embarrassingly. From stress, I felt dizzy, nauseous, and had headaches.

I think people especially considering early removal will feel those things even more strongly.

People around you, even really close people, truly do not know unless they are the person involved. The person involved gets really deeply hurt by casually thrown-out words. Because they are close, it is even harder to take jokes as jokes.

I was just going to remove it and not come back here, but before my removal I spent all day barely eating, coming into this community and reading posts and reviews. I got help and comfort about things like when the early removal period is. So I am leaving this post to tell you to stay strong, and I will come back to leave reviews every few days.

I will keep the hospital name private!
