Eye Surgery Considerations

Yedam review

I had surgery here about 5 years ago. After my first surgery at another hospital, I really liked the shape of my nose, but after about 10 years my nose started to lift, so I had revision surgery at Yedam. I didn’t look around at many places; I just had a consultation here, and the doctor said he was very confident and would do it in the direction I wanted (keeping the nose height while lowering only the tip), so I had the surgery right away. The result was a disaster During surgery, they said they had to lower the silicone, so they inserted a slightly lower one, but the problem wasn’t the height. They took my already short nose and made it into a curved “Korean-style nose,” making it look shorter and even more upturned. I said the shape looked a bit strange and the middle of the nose looked too sunken, and they said it would get better once the swelling went down, but even now, 5 years later, it still looks the same. Also, the cartilage at the tip of my nose is visible, so I’m looking into revision surgery. At every clinic I visit, they say the shape looks strange. They even said they thought it was contracture, but when I showed them photos from the first surgery, they were like, “So it was designed like this from the start!” and seemed puzzled. There are many people who say they turned out naturally and well.. but I guess it just didn’t suit me. This time I’m going to consultations carefully so I don’t fail again
