Regretting orthodontic treatment

I think it’s been about a year and a half since I finished orthodontic treatment. When I first had a consultation and took photos because of my snaggletooth, they said my chin protruded slightly more than most people’s. But it wasn’t quite protrusive mouth, so they said I could do either non-extraction or extraction treatment. I naturally thought I’d look prettier if I extracted teeth, so I asked them to do extractions, but I really want to go back to that time.. From when I started until about 3-6 months in, I liked exactly how I looked when smiling, and I vaguely thought I’d look even prettier as time passed, so I think I just kept trusting the director and going for monthly treatment. But after a year, I started feeling like my mouth was going in too much? So I asked whether my teeth would move further inward, and said I thought they would look even more sunken once the braces came off. They said they wouldn’t go in any more than now, and that even if the braces were removed, it wouldn’t be noticeable. So when I asked if we couldn’t bring them forward again, the doctor got angry, saying why was I only bringing it up now, and that doing it now would take a very long time, require screws, and be difficult. So I continued the orthodontic treatment as it was, but in the end, after finishing everything, I cried at the dental clinic. When I smile, my upper teeth don’t even fully show, I look like I have an underbite.. I look like an old womanㅠㅠ I want reverse orthodontic treatment, but I already had extractions and my gums are weak, so I’m worried and can’t do it. Everyone, when you feel that the current state is better, make it very clear that you don’t want the teeth to go in any further. And if you feel they’ve gone in too much and say you want to bring them back out, even if the doctor says something, stand your ground. The moment the braces come off, you can’t turn it back.. And if non-extraction is possible, try to do orthodontic treatment without extraction whenever you can. Please don’t think lightly of pulling healthy teethㅠㅠ
