Review and more, 2 weeks after 3 types of facial contouring

☆ It’s been 2 weeks since I had 3 types of facial contouring. I had 3D cheekbone reduction, long-curve jaw reduction, and chin advancement.

First of all, after surgery, my throat was an issue too, but I felt so nauseous that it was hard. I was discharged the next day and came home, and they told me to do cold compresses for 3 days, but my face felt hot, so I did cold compresses one more day through day 4 and am now doing warm compresses. When I watch YouTube reviews, it seems like a lot of people say it didn’t hurt, but I don’t know if that’s exaggerated or if it was just me.. For me, until about day 4, I would wake up while sleeping because it hurt. After that, it suddenly got better and better.

I’ve been living like a human, eating mostly soft foods, and yesterday I really wanted jajangmyeon and bibim noodles, so I cut them into tiny pieces and ate them. I thought I’d be able to eat them well, but it still wasn’t as easy as I expected, and eating was kind of tough lolㅠㅠ Before that, I got sick of eating soup, so I melted white bread into soup and ate that. Porridge. Soft tofu. Grated apple. Ripe persimmon. Ice cream. Soft cake like tiramisu. Yakult-type drinks. Yogurt. Oh, pumpkin juice too, one with every meal each day.

I live outside Seoul, but I had something to do in Seoul, so while I was there I thought I’d just get a consultation, went in, and ended up putting down a deposit right away and booking the earliest surgery date before leaving.. Since I still can’t know the result because of swelling, it’s not exactly regret, but I do feel a bit of lingering doubt. I should have at least consulted a few other placesㅠ I did it at ㅇㅇㅇ, and first of all there were sooo many people. I had a consultation reservation at 4 and arrived around 3:30, but the reservation didn’t seem to mean much. I waited so long.. I had gone just thinking I’d casually get a consultation, so I hadn’t planned to go anywhere else, but I didn’t have time that day either, and making another consultation reservation elsewhere would mean coming back up again and that much more delay, so since I’d made up my mind I just wanted to get it done quickly and finished it all in one go;; The consultant was pretty, and I’m easily persuadedㅜ..ㅋㅋㅋ They told me to fill something out and wait, so I took photos, waited for the consultation with the consultant, and even after that waited again for the director, then waited for the consultant again, went out for an ECG test, got one IV because of anemia, and by the time I came out it was close to 8 in the evening, I think.. There was one woman at the clinic who got exhausted from waiting and argued with the desk staff.

And they had told me to come on day 7, but since I live outside Seoul, I asked what they would do if I went, and they said they would remove the stitches near my ears. So I asked if I could go on day 10 and do it together with removing the intraoral stitches, and they said that was fine. I also reserved a meeting with my surgeon at 4, went up, and arrived around 3:30. As expected, there were tons of people again lol. I told them I came for treatment and they told me to wait. Since I’d arrived earlier than my reservation time, I waited, then at 4:10 I asked how long I had to wait because I couldn’t wait any longer due to my flight time, and I don’t know if the desk staff weren’t connected with each other, but they didn’t knowㅡㅡ They make people wait so much that it’s impossible not to get irritated. In the elevator going down to the 2nd floor, people next to me were saying that someone had a 2:30 reservation but only had the consultant consultation, and the doctor wasn’t coming out of the operating room, so they got exhausted from waiting and left. I don’t know if it’s because it’s Seoul or because it’s peak season, but reservations are meaningless, and it seems like they take in way more people than their capacity.

But the bigger shock was that when I went to the 2nd floor, they removed the stitches near my ears and said they’d look inside my mouth, so I was lying down, and a doctor I’d never seen before came, quickly looked inside my mouth, said it was clean and that I should gargle well, and left. So I asked the assistant who had removed the ear stitches, “Aren’t you removing the stitches inside my mouth?” I said the booklet they gave me after surgery said they remove them, and she said that must be because it’s old, and after they changed to more absorbable sutures, they no longer separately remove intraoral stitches.....ㄷㄷㄷㄷ Did she say it’s been about a year since they stopped removing them? When I made the appointment before, the consultant definitely said they would remove the intraoral stitches, so I came later to do them together.... I was only looking forward to getting the intraoral stitches removed.......... sigh.. And as for meeting my surgeon, I felt like if I waited it would be endless, so I just came back down without seeing him. I booked a radiofrequency appointment for a month later.

For now, as long as the result is good, everything can be forgiven, so I’m waiting for the swelling to go down, but hmm.... I don’t know. I didn’t shop around, so I don’t have anything to compare it to~ Normally, do you not see your surgeon separately again after surgery? Even during surgery, they anesthetized me without even saying they were going to, lol. I couldn’t ask anything and just went out cold.. To them it must be routine, but for the person actually having it done, there’s a lot of fear and anxietyㅜ sigh.

When I went this time, I asked if they don’t take photos again after surgery, and they said they would if I wanted, so I got a CT taken before coming back. Somehow, this place doesn’t feel like I’m being cared for; it feels like I have to handle things on my own. If I’m curious about something, I look online; and for online questions, I look online lol.. I’m curious how it was for other people who had it done here.

Somehow I rambled on. Anyway, this was my 2-week reviewㅋㅋ
