After my first surgery, I was doing fine, but the tip dropped and became blunt again. This time I wanted to reshape it properly into a slim, refined line, so I eventually had revision rhinoplasty at [Clinic A]. It has been 5 months~~ Honestly, at first the area where the rib cartilage was harvested felt sore, and I wondered whether it had turned out well because of the residual swelling. I searched this community intensely and worried by myself. Even at two months I was unsure, but once I reached months four and five, the dull feeling at the tip completely disappeared and the hidden line finally came out properly! I still compare my progress with other people’s revision reviews in this community, and I guess time really is the cure for residual swelling at the tip lol. These days, every side-profile selfie comes out like a once-in-a-lifetime shot, so I’m extremely proud haha. There must be many people like me who are considering revision because their tip became blunt after the first surgery, but don’t be too impatient—make sure to consult a doctor who can create a line suited to your facial proportions!
