Breast Surgery Reviews

Review of consultation at [Clinic A]

Breast surgery has always felt like a higher psychological barrier and more frightening than facial surgery, so I had been deliberating for years. Then one day I suddenly made up my mind and booked a consultation. There were two criteria that mattered to me when choosing a hospital: how much I liked the results shown in the review photos, and the doctor’s conversation style. With breasts, it’s difficult to clearly explain the shape or size I want, and I felt a little embarrassed, so it was important that the atmosphere allowed me to speak comfortably. First, I liked that the consultation room at [Clinic A] was cozily decorated like a room. When I changed clothes, the doctor turned off the light for me. Even though it was a necessary step, that small consideration showed me how attentive the doctor was. Another point often mentioned in consultation reviews was how much attention the doctor paid to operating-room hygiene and infection control. The doctor explained this quite specifically and in detail, and I could really feel how carefully they worked to minimize the various risks that can arise during surgery. I was a little surprised when the doctor said the room was managed to the level of a neurosurgery ward, but it also made me trust them that much more. Afterward, I tried on the recommended implants in different cc sizes, which concluded the first consultation, and I even scheduled surgery that day. But the more I thought about it at home, the less certain I felt about the size. Since surgery is difficult to reverse once decided, I didn’t think I could make the final decision on the day of surgery in this state, so I booked a second consultation. At the second consultation, I tried on the different cc sizes again. I thought the doctor would leave as usual, but instead they sat back down and asked whether I had any more questions. I was pleasantly surprised at that moment. In fact, that day I didn’t have many questions beyond the size, so the consultation ended quickly, but I felt their sincerity in taking extra time and asking whether I had questions so I could ask enough and make a decision. Surgery is naturally something that brings many worries, but the two consultations helped me feel a little more at ease.
