Please seriously don’t get rhinoplasty.. When other people said they wanted nose surgery, I used to live hearing people ask why, saying my nose was already good enough. I don’t know what got into me, but I lost my mind and thought I’d still do it safely, so I did it without an implant, but the result was just ruined.
I’ll write about real rhinoplasty reviews and side effects based on my own experience and the experiences of people around me.
-It is extremely uncomfortable. If you just get nose surgery, it becomes clearly different from your previous nose. The breathing sounds, the feeling that the inside of the nose has become smaller.. It is definitely different from before. This is the biggest stress.
-I did not use silicone, but there are quite a lot of side effects from silicone around me. If there are 10 people around me who had nose surgery, 2-3 of them have silicone-related side effects. That is a huge number. Contracture + implant deviation + the implant looking obvious + inflammation, etc. Among people I know, almost no one has had only one basic nose surgery. (Especially if you drink and smoke often, you need to be even more careful. Silicone can be fine for 10 years and then cause side effects in the 11th year. That is silicone.)
-I used septal cartilage, and even now, more than 3 months later, when I purse my lips, my philtrum feels tight and unnatural.
+Then can’t you just avoid using septal cartilage and use only ear cartilage? Eventually the columellar strut becomes weak, and later the nasal tip drops. This is one of the reasons people around me are currently considering revision surgery. The silicone just sits there, and the nasal tip keeps dropping. As time passes, you will 100% think about revision surgery.
-Nasal tip deviation. Uneven nostrils, etc. I had surgery without an implant, and my nasal tip ended up deviating.
+Sometimes hospitals say this: your own face, your nose is crooked, so it became crooked. That is why the nostrils are different. It is the most ridiculous thing. Isn’t the purpose of nose surgery to correct and improve it because it is crooked?
-There are also people whose ears became pinned backward over time after surgery using ear cartilage. (uneven ears)
-Alar reduction scars are literally hideous. Scar minimization? There is no such thing. Even people who usually do not scar can have especially severe nasal scars, and it depends on the case.
Of course, if your complex is truly so severe that even after considering all the side effects above, you are satisfied with your face changing, I won’t stop you.. I have really had all kinds of plastic surgery, from fillers to various minor procedures, fat grafting, liposuction, eyes, nose, and so on.. The nose has the lowest satisfaction.. Even though I was not greedy and only wanted a simple bulbous nose correction, my impression changed too much and my nose became so ugly that I deeply regret it now.. Those who are fine with fillers may be thinking, how long am I going to keep getting fillers.. Just get fillers. It is a safe procedure that can be removed anytime. Seriously don’t do your nose. Half of the columella I had in my nose is gone, so now when viewed from below, my nose looks like it has been sliced. My nasal tip has deviated too.
I sincerely think no one does it only once.. Of course there are people who do it once and live without major issues. But are they 100% satisfied inside? They are just not sensitive, so they live being reasonably satisfied, but when you actually ask them, everyone has at least one complaint.
It is a problem if it is too much. It is a problem if it is too subtle. It is a problem because of side effects.. The nose is central, so your impression really changes a lot. Please take that into account and choose carefully.. Please do not trust reviews. Plastic surgery app reviews? Famous hospitals? Famous directors? The best reviews uploaded on apps are from places where people get discounts, and even if they don’t like it, they have to Photoshop the photos heavily and upload them saying they like it. The consultants pressure you every month to upload a review^^
There may be people whose surgery goes well, but most noses that look pretty in photos are extremely excessive in real life.
You usually do it thinking, I might turn out well. I was the same. Because the surgery was so simple. I was careless. It feels like I threw my money on the ground. I should have used that money to buy cosmetics or do things good for my mental health..
Please think carefully one more time. Is my nose really so ugly that I need to do this..
