* First, before getting into the full review, I want to make it clear that I am not a broker. After my consultation at ㄱㅇㅈ, what I worried about most was that there were so~~ few reviews, especially photo reviews, so I felt very anxious. I’m writing this to be of even a little help to other community members considering surgery at this clinic!
1. Which surgery is this? First surgery 2. My original nose: I had a nasal bridge and dorsum, but the nasal tip drooped a lot, an arrow-shaped nose
3. What I wanted to improve: -Improve the blunt nasal tip from the front -As the nasal tip is lifted, I wanted the columella to come down slightly -I also wanted an effect of improving protrusive mouth appearance
4. Nose style I wanted: -Rather than a dramatic nose, a natural and safe result with slight improvement -A natural and pretty straight-to-slightly-upturned beoseon-style line
5. Consultation review I wanted a very natural line, so before surgery I went for consultations at about six clinics known for natural results: ㅁㅌ, ㅇㄷㅇㅇㅇ, ㅁㅅㅇ, ㅅㅎ, ㅇㅈ, and ㄱㅇㅈ..! There wasn’t anywhere that felt like “this is the place!” and then lastly, through an acquaintance’s recommendation, I visited ㄱㅇㅈ. First, the photos the director showed me were natural and pretty, so I liked them, and during the consultation communication with the director went well, so I think I leaned a lot toward choosing it. The director is quite safety-focused, and I trusted the part where he said he would make the prettiest nose that best suits my face within the limits of what can come from my nose. I think that was because from the start, I wanted a natural change rather than a dramatic nose line that changes my impression. For people who want a smooth and dramatic nose, the clinic’s motto may not match... It has only been about two days since removing the splint, so there is still a lot of swelling and yellow bruising, but I really like the line itself! I’m happy because it feels like my nose has improved very naturally :)
I had a big fear of implants, and the director respected that, so we proceeded without an implant. He said that although it wasn’t an osteotomy, he shaved down a slightly crooked part of my nasal bridge a little, and I heard that for nasal tip support he used ear cartilage and fascia from behind the ear to prevent the ear cartilage from showing through. And I also had nasolabial angle surgery at the same time, and I think the protrusive mouth appearance has been corrected a lot too. It feels like my mouth line has naturally lifted slightly upward?!
I want the swelling to go down quickly so I can wear makeup, dress up, and go outside haha. I’m looking forward to how my nose shape will turn out!
