A year ago, I had surgery for a deviated septum at a university hospital, and because the outside of my nose also looked quite crooked, I had that corrected at the same time. Since I was already having surgery, I thought it would be nice to raise the nasal tip too, so I also had the tip done using ear cartilage. But at the time, I honestly did not have a strong desire to change my appearance. I just wanted my deviated septum and crooked nose to be corrected straight, so I did not research much and had surgery at a university hospital because it felt safe. Afterwards, though, raising the nasal tip was not what I had imagined. The columella area had become longer toward the philtrum.. The crooked nose was not properly improved either, and maybe because the nasal tip and columella became longer toward the philtrum, it looked even more crooked..
So now I am looking into revision surgery at a plastic surgery clinic to properly correct the crooked nose, and I am actually thinking of removing the ear cartilage from the nasal tip. Looking at my nose again, I feel like my bulbous nose is also quite severe, so I am really conflicted haha
I went through a lot of stress after having surgery at a university hospital, so I hope other people look into things thoroughly and succeed in one go!
