In 2015, I had my first surgery with ear cartilage, septal cartilage (nasal tip), and 3 mm silicone, and one month later I went overseas right away. At that time, my nose would occasionally throb and feel hot, but it would be fine the next day and then hurt again, repeating like that, so I just lived with it thinking maybe this was the usual feeling of having a foreign material. Then, when I came to Korea 2 years later, I heard from people and my parents that my nose looked strange and like Michael Jackson, so I got stressed and had revision surgery again. I had the second surgery at a different place. At that time, I had AlloDerm for the nasal tip and 3 mm silicone. But 15 days later, they said it seemed like inflammation had developed, so I received treatment for 3 days, and after 18 days all the silicone and nasal-tip material were removed. I had to go overseas again.
And because my nose was not pretty, my self-esteem dropped so much that I couldn't meet people for several months. But some people said that if I didn't mention it, they couldn't really tell and that it didn't look strange, so at some point I also forgot about it and lived on.
Then 2 years later, now in 2019, I have had my 3rd? 4th surgery. I had it at the place where I had my second surgery, and they said that to do it safely, instead of silicone, we should use AlloDerm (artificial dermis) for the nasal bridge and ear cartilage for the nasal tip, so I did that.
Is there anyone who, like me, used AlloDerm for the nasal bridge???
Does it get absorbed a lot?? Right now the nasal tip is so pretty, but if the bridge gets lower than this and is absorbed, I feel like it might become too low. I guess I need to take good care of my body and my nose now so inflammation doesn't happen ㅜ ㅜ It is day 3 now
